Richard Loskot (1984)

visual artist and architect

- studied visual communication at the Faculty of Art and Architecture at the Technical University in Liberec and sculpture at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Munich. He also taught in Liberec for several years.

- his long-term theme is the transformation of public space

- he devotes himself to installations and exhibition architecture

- he participated, for example, in the transformation of Moravské Square in Brno, created a memorial to deceased police officers in Liberec and architecturally prepared the New Realisms exhibition at GHMP

- he is a three-time finalist of the Jindřich Chalupecký Award

How to recognise talent, how to support and develop it? How to guide students meaningfully? When does a pupil become an artist?

Questions concerning passion, obsession, motivation, inspiration and feedback are answered by prominent figures of the Czech art scene who, in their role as mentors in MenART, help talented students and their teachers find their own path.

Thus the MenART Impulse project was born – a ten-minute story with the ambition to move forward all those who are interested in art, work with art or study it. Desire is contagious!
