Milan Cais (1974)

Sculptor, multimedia artist, painter

- graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts (AVU)

- at AVU he attended the studios of sculpture and visual art

- in 1988 he co-founded the band Tata Bojs, in which he plays drums, sings and writes lyrics, and takes care of the band's visual output

- among his most distinctive achievements are the installation Night Watchman, placed on the roof of the Goethe Institute in Prague and a few years later also on two cooling towers of the Temelín power plant, the visual design of the Nanobook, and the concept and creation of the TATA 30JS exhibition at the Prague DOX

- he contributed to the major exhibition Nests of Games at the Prague Rudolfinum, and at EXPO 2005 in Japan he exhibited the object Drop Machine

How to recognise talent, how to support and develop it? How to guide students meaningfully? When does a pupil become an artist?

Thus the MenART Impulse project was born – a ten-minute story with the ambition to move forward all those who are interested in art, work with art or study it. Desire is contagious!
